RVezy is an RV rental marketplace connecting travellers looking to rent an RV with private owners across Canada. Founded by two RV enthusiasts, the company saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between these two groups. When I joined Distill Mobile in 2019, RVezy had recently launched its app across Canada. The platform was still in its early stages, and I saw an opportunity to give the brand and digital experience a visual facelift while creating a stronger foundation for the product to grow.
Approach
I initially pitched a brand refresh to my boss and the RVezy founders, and after one presentation, everyone was on board. I was stoked!
I developed a refreshed colour palette, typography, and illustration style, along with a visual direction for photography that could work across the existing platform. The goal was to create a visual identity that gave the team something to build from, while still being flexible enough to grow alongside the product.
Once that foundation was in place, my role grew alongside RVezy as new features and functionality were introduced. I helped shape how the platform looked, felt, and worked as the company evolved, working across both mobile and web.
I worked on everything from wireframing new features to developing final high-fidelity designs and dev-ready files, helping take ideas from early concepts through to the finished product.
